Gartner significantly raises data center spending forecast

Gartner recently adjusted its overall IT spending forecast, specifically citing explosive growth in spending on GenAI hardware. It now projects that global IT spending will surpass $6 trillion for the first time by 2026, about a year ahead of schedule. Spending on data center systems will reach $489.5 billion in 2025 and $582.5 billion in 2026.
