Professor Yang Weifeng's team at Xiamen University's School of Electronics has fabricated a self-powered, solar-blind CuCrO2/β-Ga2O3 heterojunction photodetector containing Al nanoparticles. The detector exhibits a low dark current of 3.67 pA, a high light-to-dark current ratio of 2×106, a high responsivity of 0.82 A/W, a high detectivity of 8.09×1013 Jones, a high external quantum efficiency of 402.8%, and a fast response time of 30/19 ms.
