Skyworks Solutions in acquisition talks with Qorvo

Skyworks Solutions is in acquisition talks with rival Qorvo. Skyworks is a supplier of radio frequency chips to Apple and other smartphone manufacturers. Qorvo closed at $92.13 on the Nasdaq on Monday, with a market capitalization of $8.54 billion. Skyworks has a market capitalization of $11.26 billion and employs more than 10,000 people. Skyworks designs and manufactures analog and mixed-signal chips for wireless communications, automotive, industrial, and consumer electronics.
