Hubei's energy storage industry is experiencing significant development, with Envision Energy and Chueng New Energy commencing construction simultaneously.

In October 2025, two large-scale energy storage projects were simultaneously launched in Yichang and Xiangyang, Hubei Province. Envision Power invested 24.2 billion yuan to build a smart lithium-ion battery base, while Chuneng New Energy began construction on a 70GWh industrial park.
