Tesla's Shanghai Gigafactory rooftop covered with solar panels

Tesla Vice President Tao Lin revealed that the roof of the Shanghai Gigafactory is already covered with solar panels, which can generate 11 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually and reduce carbon emissions by 4,600 tons. In addition, the Shanghai Energy Storage Gigafactory is also installing solar panels, which are expected to generate an additional 6 million kilowatt-hours of electricity and reduce carbon emissions by 2,500 tons per year.
