According to multiple media analyses, Chengxing's phosphorus-based products can be indirectly used in solid-state battery production. Phosphorus pentasulfide, a key raw material for all-solid-state batteries, is synthesized from ultra-pure yellow phosphorus and sulfur. Approximately 450 tons of yellow phosphorus (135 tons of ultra-pure yellow phosphorus) are needed for 1 GWh of solid-state batteries, representing 150% of the amount used in lithium sulfide.
