Chinese startup Noetix Robotics recently secured nearly 300 million yuan in Pre-B round funding and launched Bumi, a consumer-grade humanoid robot priced at only 9,998 yuan—1 yuan cheaper than the iPhone 17 Pro Max. The 94-centimeter-tall robot became an instant bestseller on JD.com, selling over 100 units in the first hour and its initial batch of 500 units sold out within two days.
