Samsung SDI, BMW, and Solid Power have signed a tripartite agreement to jointly advance all-solid-state battery technology. Samsung SDI will supply all-solid-state battery cells, while BMW will develop and validate all-solid-state battery modules and packs. The ultimate goal is to use all-solid-state batteries in BMW's next-generation test vehicles to verify their practical performance.
