France launches world's first wireless charging highway

France has launched the world's first wireless charging system on a 1.5-kilometer stretch of the A10 highway, allowing electric vehicles to recharge while in motion. The project is a collaboration between VINCI Autoroutes, France's largest toll road operator, and companies such as Electreon. In public testing, four modified electric vehicles successfully completed dynamic charging while driving on the highway.
