Title: Microsoft Approved to Export Nvidia Chips to UAE

Microsoft has become the first U.S. company to be licensed to export Nvidia's latest chips to the United Arab Emirates, clearing a hurdle for its Middle East expansion. The license was approved in September. Microsoft President Brad Smith stated that these export licenses could not have been obtained unless the company had met the ongoing demands of the U.S. government, and that they were able to obtain them because they had met very stringent cybersecurity, physical security, and other security requirements.
