Leapmotor denies acquisition rumors from FAW, stating that cooperation between the two companies is still deepening.

Recently, rumors circulated that FAW Group planned to acquire Leapmotor and become its largest shareholder, but this was subsequently denied by Leapmotor. This is the second time this year that both parties have clarified similar rumors. Despite this, FAW and Leapmotor have a long-standing cooperative relationship, having collaborated on multiple projects since 2019. Leapmotor is currently operating well, with significant growth in both sales and revenue, and already has Stellantis Group as a major shareholder. FAW Group has not yet responded to this matter.
