General Motors recently announced that the Chevrolet Bolt will return in 2027. The new vehicle's powertrain utilizes GM's in-house X76 electric drive unit, which incorporates a silicon carbide inverter to improve system efficiency. Furthermore, the new Bolt supports DC fast charging up to 150kW and has a 65 kWh battery capacity.
