Spanish car market recovers, with sales of new energy vehicles hitting new highs.

In October 2025, new car sales in Spain increased by 15.9% year-on-year, reaching 96,800 units, approaching the level of the same period in 2019. The penetration rate of plug-in hybrid and pure electric vehicles reached a record high of 22.4%. The Spanish passenger car market performed exceptionally well, with sales increasing by 15.9% year-on-year to 96,785 units.
