The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has released requirements for the proportion of new energy vehicle credits.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) issued a notice stipulating that the new energy vehicle credit ratio requirements for 2026 and 2027 are 48% and 58%, respectively. For domestic passenger vehicle manufacturers with an annual production volume of less than 2,000 vehicles and maintaining independent production, R&D, and operation, and for imported passenger vehicle suppliers authorized by overseas passenger vehicle manufacturers with an import volume of less than 2,000 vehicles, if their average fuel consumption decreases by more than 4% compared to the previous year, their compliance requirements will be relaxed by 60% based on the average fuel consumption requirements stipulated in the "Evaluation Methods and Indicators for Passenger Vehicle Fuel Consumption".
