In November 2025, U.S. auto giant General Motors issued clear instructions to thousands of suppliers, requiring them to gradually remove parts from the supply chain of North American production vehicles from countries subject to U.S. trade restrictions, such as China, Russia, and Venezuela, and ultimately terminate related procurement cooperation completely by 2027.
