Tesla recalls some Model Y and Model 3 vehicles due to battery hardware defects.

Tesla has recalled nearly 13,000 2026 Model Y and 2025 Model 3 vehicles due to a faulty battery pack contactor coil connection that could cause the vehicle to lose power. Tesla will replace the battery hardware free of charge. The recalled vehicles were manufactured between March 15 and August 15, 2025, and March 8 and August 12, 2025, respectively. Tesla plans to send notification emails to owners on December 9.
