In October 2025, BYD's retail sales reached 295,871 units, a year-on-year decrease of 31.4% and a month-on-month decrease of 14.8%, but it still ranked first among manufacturers in retail sales with a market share of 13.2%. Although the overall car market saw a slight decline of 0.5%, and the new energy vehicle market grew by 7.2%, BYD experienced a significant decline. This was mainly due to factors such as adjustments in production capacity and delivery schedules, competitive pressure and market diversion, as well as adjustments in promotional strategies and channels. However, BYD's technological advantages, international progress, and production capacity layout remain solid, and sales are expected to rebound in the first quarter of 2026.
