The Ministry of Commerce and three other departments jointly strengthen the management of used car exports.

To promote the healthy and orderly development of used car exports, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Public Security, and the General Administration of Customs jointly issued a notice to further standardize relevant management. The notice outlines several specific requirements, including strict export management and strengthened compliance review. Starting January 1, 2026, companies applying for vehicle exports must submit a "Confirmation of After-Sales Service" issued by the vehicle manufacturer; otherwise, export licenses will not be issued.
