Dongfeng Motor Releases New Progress in Solid-State Batteries

Dongfeng Motor announced that it has established a 0.2GWh solid-state battery pilot production line and plans to mass-produce solid-state batteries with an energy density of 350Wh/kg in September 2026, which is expected to enable vehicles to achieve a range of 1,000 kilometers. In addition, the company is also developing a fast-charging 350Wh/kg all-solid-state battery and a 500Wh/kg sulfide all-solid-state battery.
