NXP launches new battery management system chip to support the development of electric vehicles.

NXP Semiconductors recently launched two new battery management system (BMS) chips—the BMA7118 and BMA7418—which integrate high-synchronization ADCs and hardware-level DFT, opening up new possibilities for battery health monitoring.
