Volvo's partnership with Luminar breaks down

Volvo had previously claimed that Luminar's lidar was standard equipment on its EX90 and ES90 models; however, Volvo recently announced that it would make lidar an optional feature and terminate its five-year cooperation agreement with Luminar. This decision dealt a significant blow to Luminar, as Volvo was its largest customer.
