Magna builds new electric drive factory in Wuhu

Magna announced an investment in a new electric drive plant in Wuhu, primarily to supply electric drive systems to Chinese domestic automaker Chery. Located in the Jiujiang Economic Development Zone of Wuhu City, the new plant is expected to mass-produce electric drive systems for Chery and also serve surrounding customers. The new plant will cover approximately 16,000 square feet and is expected to create about 200 new jobs.
