At its recent strategy meeting, Li Auto reflected on declining sales and R&D issues, and decided to accelerate product updates, shortening the cycle from once every four years to once every two years. Simultaneously, Li Auto plans to increase model differentiation, moving away from the "cookie-cutter" approach, with each platform offering a distinct style and different exterior designs for different models. Furthermore, Li Auto is accelerating its overseas expansion, having already established R&D centers in Germany and the United States, and plans to make new models launched in 2026 compliant with overseas market regulations.
