Guangdong plans to increase the scale of its artificial intelligence industry to over 440 billion yuan by 2027.

The Guangdong Provincial People's Government issued the "Guangdong Provincial National Digital Economy Innovation and Development Pilot Zone Construction Plan (2025-2027)," proposing that by 2027, the added value of Guangdong's core digital economy industries will account for more than 16% of GDP, and three internationally competitive trillion-yuan-level digital industry clusters will be created.
