On November 25, 2025, the Aion UT Super, jointly launched by JD.com, GAC Group, and CATL, began its first batch of deliveries. However, it quickly attracted attention due to a surge in cancellation requests. This model attracted attention with its low-priced 49,900 RMB battery rental plan; however, within a short period, over 200 complaints were received, with owners expressing dissatisfaction with JD.com's chaotic sales practices and GAC Group's manufacturing issues. Major problems included discrepancies between vehicle configuration and advertised specifications, hidden clauses in the battery rental plan, and indifferent after-sales service. Faced with the cancellation storm, JD.com and GAC Group need to fundamentally address the lack of transparency and service disconnect.
