With the implementation of the new national standard, the sale of old electric bicycles has been discontinued.

Starting December 1st, all electric bicycles sold must comply with the new mandatory national standard, and electric bicycles that meet the old national standard will be completely banned from sale. According to GB 17761—2024 "Safety Technical Specifications for Electric Bicycles" and the requirements of the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China (CNCA) announcement, all CCC certification certificates previously issued based on the old national standard (GB 17761—2018) will also be cancelled and invalidated.
