Xi'an Yicai and Wuhan Optics Valley cooperate to build a silicon material base

Xi'an Yicai Semiconductor Materials Co., Ltd. and Wuhan Optics Valley Semiconductor Industry Investment Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement to jointly invest 12.5 billion yuan to build a silicon material base in Wuhan. The project will produce 12-inch silicon single-crystal polished wafers and epitaxial wafers, serving fields such as logic chips and NAND flash memory. The project will be constructed in two phases, with an expected annual production capacity of hundreds of thousands of wafers.
