Uber partners with Avride to launch self-driving ride-hailing service in Dallas

Uber recently announced a partnership with Avride, a US developer of autonomous driving technology, to launch an autonomous ride-hailing service in Dallas, Dallas. In a statement, Uber said that starting December 3, users calling UberX, Uber Comfort, or Comfort Electric vehicles in Dallas may be matched with Avride's Hyundai Ioniq 5 autonomous vehicles without incurring additional charges.
