Jinmai Electronics has successfully ported eSOL's eMCOS POSIX to Horizon Robotics' Journey 6M chip, enhancing the safety of intelligent driving.

Shanghai Jinmai Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. recently announced that it has successfully ported eSOL's eMCOS POSIX real-time operating system to the ARM Cortex-A78 core of Horizon Robotics' Journey 6M chip and completed verification. This achievement fills a gap in functional safety for high-performance application processors and enhances the safety of intelligent driving systems. eMCOS POSIX has passed ISO 26262 ASIL-D certification and is suitable for embedded systems with extremely high safety requirements.
