Bosch predicts that advanced driver assistance systems will become standard equipment.

At the Horizon Robotics 2025 Technology Ecosystem Conference held recently, Wu Yongqiao, President of Bosch Intelligent Driving Systems China, reiterated that advanced driver assistance systems will eventually become standard equipment, just like airbags and seat belts. OEMs no longer need to invest heavily in R&D for standard features, but should instead concentrate their resources on higher-level capabilities such as L3 and L4.
