Qualcomm recently announced its acquisition of Ventana Micro Systems, a startup focused on RISC-V technology. This move aims to enhance Qualcomm's CPU engineering capabilities, particularly in the development of its custom Oryon CPU technology. Ventana's technology is considered comparable to the latest Arm and x86 data center CPUs.
