Samsung SDI wins major US energy storage system contract

Samsung SDI announced that its U.S. subsidiary, SDI America, has signed a contract with a U.S. energy-related infrastructure developer and operator to supply lithium iron phosphate batteries for its energy storage systems (ESS). The contract is worth more than 2 trillion won and is expected to be used for approximately three years starting in 2027.
