China approves production access for Level 3 autonomous driving vehicles for the first time.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently announced the first batch of production access permits for L3-level conditionally automated driving vehicles in my country. Two pure electric sedans, the Changan Deep Blue SL03 and the Jihu Alfa S, are undergoing on-road pilot tests in designated areas of Beijing and Chongqing, respectively.
