Intel plans to acquire AI chip company SambaNova

Intel is in advanced talks with AI chip company SambaNova, with plans to complete the acquisition in January 2026. SambaNova's enterprise value and total debt are approximately $1.6 billion, and it was previously valued at as much as $5 billion.
