The Santana automobile manufacturing plant in Spain officially resumed operations on December 5th in Linares after a 14-year hiatus. This restart is due to a strategic agreement reached between Santana Automobile Co., Ltd. and Chinese companies Zhengzhou Nissan Automobile Co., Ltd. and Anhui Carrot Technology Co., Ltd. The plant will launch two new models: the Santana 400D (diesel version) and the Santana 400 PHEV (plug-in hybrid version), and plans to produce SUV models based on the BAIC platform in the future.
