Samsung Electronics may expand its supply share of Broadcom's HBM3E 12-layer chips.

Sources indicate that Samsung Electronics is expected to increase its share of supplying Broadcom with 12-layer HBM3E chips. Broadcom is currently designing TPUs for Google, and Google's latest seventh-generation TPU uses 8-layer HBM3E chips supplied by both Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix. Reportedly, the two companies have achieved nearly identical performance levels. Broadcom has identified Samsung Electronics as a strategic partner to replace SK Hynix.
