In November 2025, new car sales in Japan reached 369,700 units, a 5.1% year-on-year decline, marking the fifth consecutive month of decrease. However, cumulative sales for the first 11 months of this year still maintained a positive growth of 3.4%, reaching 4.23 million units. Nevertheless, the Japanese auto market appears to be experiencing a "cooling down after a high base," with only Daihatsu among major automakers achieving a 9.3% year-on-year increase in a single month.
