Honda Motor Co. announced plans to suspend or reduce vehicle production at its plants in Japan and China from late December to early January due to a semiconductor shortage. This follows Honda's previous suspension of production at its Mexican plant in October and November, and forced production cuts at its plants in the United States and Canada.
