On December 21, Zhao Yongpo, General Manager of Haval, officially announced on his personal Weibo account that he would be appointed CEO of Wey. Zhao Yongpo has extensive industry experience, having worked at Great Wall Motors for many years, making him a veteran within the company. He joined Great Wall in 2000 and was promoted to Deputy General Manager of Great Wall Motors' Technology Center in 2021, leading the development of vehicle platforms, lower body architecture design, and chassis performance optimization.
