Uber and Baidu will partner to launch a pilot program for driverless taxis in London, UK.

Uber announced a partnership with Baidu to pilot driverless taxis in the UK, following the lead of Waymo, the US self-driving technology company that launched its testing program in London this month. Uber stated that it will launch a pilot program using Baidu Apollo Go RT6 driverless taxis in London in the first half of 2026, with full operation expected by the end of next year.
