Mercedes-Benz has reached a settlement with 48 U.S. states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico, agreeing to pay approximately $150 million to resolve a diesel emissions dispute. Previously, some Mercedes-Benz diesel vehicles were accused of exceeding nitrogen oxide emissions standards in real-world driving, impacting air quality. The funds will be used to combat air pollution, such as promoting zero-emission vehicles and building charging infrastructure.
