Harman International acquires ZF's ADAS business unit

Harman International, a US electronics specialist company, announced it will acquire ZF's ADAS business unit and its 3,750 employees for €1.5 billion. This acquisition aims to help ZF reduce its debt by approximately €11 billion and allow it to focus more on its core businesses, such as chassis and drive systems. It also represents an important strategic addition for Harman International.
