TSMC receives US license to export chip equipment to its Nanjing plant

TSMC announced it has received its annual license from the U.S. government, allowing it to import U.S. chip manufacturing equipment to its Nanjing, China factory. This approval ensures continuity of factory operations and product delivery. Previously, Asian companies such as TSMC, Samsung Electronics, and SK Hynix had benefited from exemptions from Washington's comprehensive restrictions on exports of chip-related products to China.
