Luminar sells its core LiDAR business

U.S. lidar manufacturer Luminar has reached an agreement to sell its core lidar business to Quantum Computing Inc. for $22 million, unless a higher or better offer is received by 5 p.m. Central Time on Monday, January 13, 2026. The transaction is subject to approval by a bankruptcy judge in the Southern District of Texas.
