Tesla refutes rumors of layoffs at its Berlin factory

In response to German media reports of a 14% layoff at its Berlin Gigafactory, Tesla issued a statement saying that the number of permanent employees has not significantly decreased compared to 2024, and there are no plans for layoffs. Tesla stated that there are indeed personnel "fluctuations" at the factory, but this is "perfectly normal," and the reductions are in contract workers and temporary workers, not permanent employees.
