Nissan Motor Announces Global Strategic Adjustment Plan

Nissan Motor Co. announced it will lay off 20,000 employees and reduce its factories from 17 to 10 by fiscal year 2027. The goal is to achieve positive operating profitability and free cash flow in its automotive business by fiscal year 2026, with total cost savings of 500 billion yen.
