WeRide obtains Level 4 autonomous driving test license in Belgium

In September 2025, WeRide obtained the first Level 4 autonomous driving test license issued by the Belgian Federal Government, laying a compliant foundation for its commercial operations. In addition to Belgium, WeRide is accelerating its global business expansion. In November 2025, its Robotaxi received a fully driverless operation license from the Swiss Federal Roads Agency (FEDRO), allowing it to operate without safety drivers on public roads in the Vltal region of Zurich—the first such permit issued in Switzerland.
