BYD plans to localize the manufacturing of auto parts in Brazil.

BYD plans to achieve local manufacturing and sourcing of half of the parts for its Brazilian models by the end of 2026. BYD is rapidly shifting towards a local supply system and has set a long-term goal of becoming Brazil's number one automaker by 2030.
