SpaceX and Tesla join forces to launch a 200GW solar super plan

At the 2026 Davos Forum, Elon Musk announced a 200GW solar PV super plan jointly launched by SpaceX and Tesla. The plan aims to implement 100GW of space-based and 100GW of ground-based solar PV in the United States over the next three years. The space-based solar PV component will establish a low-Earth orbit power station capable of wirelessly transmitting energy, in conjunction with Starlink and space computing centers.
