Changan Automobile announced that it has partnered with CATL to introduce sodium-ion batteries and will launch sodium-battery passenger vehicles across multiple brands. CATL's sodium-ion battery cells have a maximum energy density of 175Wh/kg, enabling pure electric vehicles to achieve a range of over 400 kilometers.
